The Pilbara Health Network has been delivering quality health care to Pilbara communities since 1998. Trading as Karratha Central Healthcare, we are a not for profit community-based organisation which aims to improve the health of Pilbara communities through the provision of comprehensive primary care, allied health and mental health services.
Our services include delivery of government-funded programs to eligible clients, Medicare-funded services and services offered for a fee through our dedicated and professional team of Podiatrists, Dietitians, Psychologists, Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Diabetes Education appointments are also available on site – call our friendly reception staff to book an appointment.

A Dietitian is an expert in diet and nutrition who uses this knowledge to promote health and prevent and treat diseases. A dietitian can provide support in changing diet and lifestyle behaviours and provide knowledge of the most up-to-date dietary interventions to help those with medical conditions.

What can you expect at your first visit?
At your first appointment we get to know a lot about you including medical history, anthropometry (e.g. weight and height), lifestyle habits and dietary assessment. We will then go on to discuss the relationship between the medical condition presented and diet and then work with you to create SMART goals to help improve your diet.
