Remote Ready Program

Karratha Central Healthcare and Western Australian Centre for Rural Health (WACRH) are partnering to launch the Remote Ready Program to help support and retain the current disability workforce as well as attracting new people to work in the disability sector in the region.

The Remote Ready Program will be a pilot program to support the disability workforce in the Pilbara by allowing them to engage together, grow ideas, discuss issues and be part of the solution to local challenges related to working in remote Pilbara communities.

The program will involve participant networking, mentorship, personal and professional developmental workshops and online modules focused on working with disability clients living in remote communities.
